Reflect Your Light!

Many years ago I wanted to decorate a mirror with rhinestones, so I bought the stones, but I never did. Now, way in the future, I bought a mirror, and I was finally able to use these stones. As I was doing this, I realized that if we pay attention, everything can be a lesson. The day I decided to decorate my mirror was a day when I was wondering about my heart's desires, if at least some of them would have a meaningful purpose. I knew it was going to be a long day of reflection, but as soon as I stopped trying to figure it out on my own, in silence, I got the answer with each rhinestone I placed on the mirror, coming slowly, opening the veil revealing what I needed to calm my heart. I already knew that everything that's in my heart, it will insist on staying, and I don't have the power to just erase it, was put there for a reason. But I needed to be reminded of that.

- I may keep wishes for years, but those wishes are in my heart for a reason, even if it's to teach me a lesson many years into the future.

- The amount of stones was exactly what I needed for the size of the mirror - I already have exactly the talent and gift needed to fulfill my purpose.

- Well in the future, the opportunity will arise.

- And it will be shiny and beautiful, like my mirror!

Than, I decided to have some fun painting a few mirrors.

REFLITA SUA LUZ!

Muitos anos atrás eu queria decorar um espelho com strass, então comprei as pedras, mas nunca fiz. Agora, no futuro, comprei um espelho e finalmente pude usar essas pedras. Enquanto fazia isso, percebi que se prestarmos atenção, tudo pode ser uma lição. O dia em que decidi decorar meu espelho, foi um dia em que eu estava me questionando sobre os desejos do meu coração, se pelo menos alguns deles teriam um propósito significativo. Eu sabia que seria um longo dia de reflexão, mas assim que parei de tentar descobrir por conta própria, em silêncio, recebi a resposta a cada strass que colocava no espelho, vindo lentamente, abrindo o véu revelando o que eu precisava para acalmar o meu coração. Eu já sabia que tudo o que está no meu coração, o que insiste em ficar, e eu não tenho poder para simplesmente apagar, foi colocado lá por um motivo. Mas eu precisava ser lembrada disso.

- Posso guardar desejos por anos, mas esses desejos estão em meu coração por um motivo, mesmo que seja para me ensinar uma lição muitos anos no futuro.

- A quantidade de pedras era exatamente o que eu precisava para o tamanho do espelho --

Já tenho exatamente o talento e dom necessários para cumprir meu propósito.

- Bem no futuro, surgirá a oportunidade.

- E ficará brilhante e lindo, como o meu espelho!

Então eu resolvi me divertir pintando alguns espelhos.
