Mother's Day!

How special it is to have a day to dedicate to our mothers! I was thinking about times when I get tired of doing things, over and over again, to repeat things that I have said, over and over again, to cook, over and over again. I can't even imagine how many times my mom changed my diapers, how many meals she prepared, how many times she had to show me, over and over again, how to hold a spoon! I don't remember seeing my mom complaining about anything that she was doing for me. Ever! How patient and loving. How much I still have to learn from her!

My mom's name is Lídia. Nothing is by chance in this life. Lídia, from the Bible, opened her house to the gospel. My mom also opened her house to everyone with amazing generosity. Her pleasure was to serve others, to cook for everyone, to help others. Everyone that came in, left with treat, and good memories. Her colors were always bright! I want to follow her example!

This is my blog, a house where I hope that you will find joy, to rest for a while feeding your heart with colors that bring good memories to you! This is my desire, to be just like my mom, serving light to my guests!
